This notice explains what happens to the details you give us through this website, and the choices you have.

Who we are

This website belongs to DG & Sons, a building firm based in Wantage and Grove, Oxfordshire, run by Harry George. We are responsible for the personal details you send us here. To get in touch about this notice or your details, call 07866 340 871.

What we collect, and why

When you send the enquiry form we receive your name, phone number, and – if you give them – your email address and your town or postcode, along with what you tell us about your project and the page you sent it from. We use these only to reply to you, to talk about your project and, if you go ahead, to give you a price and carry out the work.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries people send us and, where work follows, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you.

Where your details go

  • Each enquiry is stored in this website’s database, on servers in London run by our hosting company, Krystal Hosting Ltd.
  • A copy is emailed to our inbox so we can reply quickly.
  • If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

We never sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.

How long we keep them

Enquiries stored on the website are deleted automatically after two years. If you become a customer, we keep the records we need for the work and for our accounts for as long as the law requires.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The form’s spam check runs in your browser and sets no cookies either.

The headings use a typeface from Adobe Fonts. Your browser downloads it from Adobe’s servers, so Adobe receives your IP address and the address of the page you’re on. Adobe uses this to deliver the font and to count page views for the font licence, and sets no cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Call us on the number above and we’ll sort it out. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
